Imagine you’ve been invited to the EMME Open House, a brand new condo building in Chicago’s West Loop. You step into a spacious lobby with wraparound 20 ft windows and are directed to take the elevators up to Floor 3. As you open the amenity room door, you’re greeted by the sounds of a cocktail shaker and the smells of curry, coconut, and lemongrass. The art-filled lounge opens to a sprawling outdoor space, where a DJ spins classic funk and guests gather around fire pits toasting housemade salted caramel marshmallows to make s’mores. Thoughtfully designed elements draw your eye, as a guest perches a raspberry perilla-infused cocktail atop a sheep-shaped end table. You begin to think, “I could see myself living here”.

While catering the EMME Open House last October, FIG offered a Build Your Own Spring Roll station, diverse passed bites, and specialty cocktails using ingredients grown on the EMME rooftop. Living a life of luxury has taken on new meaning for city-dwellers. Residential and office space must be accessible and inviting while still offering a premium experience. Communal spaces are essential. Outdoor grilling, indoor dog run, cozy couches, sweeping city views? Check. A full stocked amenity space to host your next party? A must.
